When a passion... ...becomes a profession:

"- As far as I can remember, I have always drawn. In an unordered and creative fashion as a child, in classes that allowed me to explore all techniques: oil, soft or hard pastels, wash drawings, watercolours and, of course, the very foundation, very hard or very soft pencil drawings. After that, it was the Fine Arts Academy with attentive and endearing professors themselves painters and sculptors, and with figure drawing. After having tried all manners of technique and having strived continuously to create meaningful work, I had learnt a lot and taken in a lot of emotions and experiences.

All of those years not only taught me how to feel but also how to look at. Understanding the creative process by having undertaken it is a priceless experience for appreciating the work of an artist, their technique, colours, values, contrasts, forms, volumes, composition, whether it be painting, volume, installation- or video-based

It is specifically this non-academic and non-theoretical background that accounts for my viewpoint: no barriers or limits, but a rigorous qualitative openness determined by tested methods that make profesionals as gallery owner and artists acknowledge my expertness." beatrice chassepot
