Paris devient pour une semaine la capitale mondiale du dessin grâce au salon du dessin ancien dont la réputation n'est plus à faire, mais aussi désormais par la pérennisation du salon du dessin contemporain dont la première édition a eu lieu l'année dernière.

Quelques jours après Art Paris, Art Bruxelles 2008 nous réconcilie avec l'art et ses marchands. Ici pas de diktat esthétique pour les besoins d'une certaine clientèle x ou y, c'est très clairement l'exigence de l'œil qui prédominait.
