UP TO MAIN MENU CLIK be-Art, a tested method Contemporary Art is so wide. Lots of many artists, lots of fairs, lots of galleries all over the entire World.
So, how do you process to make your choices when you buy Art?
I experienced a successful method for a few years now I decided to share with you on be-Art-website. Every single piece of art you see on the site is appreciated as follows: First of all, when you see a piece of Art for the first time, you must feel something, whatever good or bad feeling.
Because this feeling is really not enough to decide to purchase, you must work on it. The following analyze process can start:
I have selected common and strigent criterions to chose artists and their works. If one of those criterions is missing you are sur to make a mistake when purchasing the piece of art.
You must check:
- if the technique is good, strong enough (whether it is new or not)
- the artwork and the Artist must be creative and full of imagination
- The whole work must be coherent and must show a real evolution, so look at the beginning works
- The artist must have a special and attractive intellectual way of thinking his work
- The artist must be ambitious
Then you have to think of the future of the artist's work:
- Does he/she make an art transportable enough? because the more transportable it is, the more you have chance to see him/her in art auctions all over the world and see his/her value increase
- If it's a Photograph, is it a good quality of paper? of printing? of ink?
- If it's a Drawing, check the quality of the paper, of the pencil (for example some black pencil turn brown)
- if it's a Sculpture, ask for the quality of the bronze.
- If it is Digital Art, ask for the edition, how many?
